Cheap parts are often stolen parts. And buying stolen parts only encourages thieves to steal more cars. Supply and demand. If they have demand for their stolen parts, they're going to get more. Same with drug dealers, same with pimps, same with any crap that's for sale - both legal and illegal.
If I don't absolutely know the source of my parts, I spend the money and buy them new. Who knows, the car I save from being stolen, just could be yours !!
