When Im in my WRX and I see another Subaru (Legacy, STI, WRX) it's a beep beep, a wave or a head nod. It's about respect and friendship for sharing the same passion.
Im saying this in a general sense, maybe even in a stereotypical sense.
It does not apply to all Honda owners, as I was one and wasn't like the majority of kids in the scene.

that is true, back when i had my 240, i would pop open and close my headlights when i would see another 240, but on this honda game, everyone seems to hate on the ludes so i just dont bother unless its another prelude.
Even when playing on the highway, the subby i ran the other day, gave me the thumbs up (after we played), good sportsmanship/respect is what is missing in 90% of the honda community.
