B20 + GSR head

Hi

I recently purchased a totaled integra DA with a B20Z + stock GSR head, I still haven't had a chance to open it up but from what the previous owner told me the only things that were changed were the bearings, everything else is stock.....

I would like to hit the ~210whp mark what are the recommendations as to what pistons I need to use with stock B20 rods and injector size?

The engine will be swapped into a '91 CRX Si..... I am planning everything low cost but I wouldn;t mind spending extra $$ to make it reliable.... from what I have read I need sleeves but I would like to avoid this step since I live in Panama central america and don't have access to an experienced shop that I can trust to do the job.....

I know that the B16 head has better flow caracteristics but the engine came as is and I don't want to spend money on getting another head, also I would think that the variable intake would help make more power at lower RPM's....

I appreciate any feedback

thanks

Rs Machines or YCP's with stock rods and Arp 8mm rod bolts.

egb18c5 will become famous soon enough
agreed.

b16 heads and gsr heads flow the same stock for stock. and they will do more than enough to help you hit 210whp.

a nice header like the hytech reps (cheap and effective) with decent cams is all you need.

since you dont have access to a machine shop hopefully you know how to properly build this motor. Sucks building motors only for them to blow up....

stock b20vtec with good headers and cams/valvetrain with a dyno tune should get you there

Dude get pistons 11.1 or 12.5 @ 84mm depending on octane availability in panama, rods bolts arp's. head> have to change valve train, and run some cam's skunk2 tuners 3 or pro 2's also good headers like hytec rep's and good intake manifold like skunk2 with a 68mm trotle body. and ill guaranty you'l hit 210-218 whp.

Ps. if you wanna rev it get the Z10 block guirdle.

A stock b20 bottom end with even a mildly built head and I say mildly because you can't run huge cams with stock b20 bottom ends because of p2p and v2v issues. I wouldn't go bigger than ITR Cams with a stock b20 block.

You aren't going to hit 200. If you do the dyno reads very high.

Highest octane rating here is 91, what compression ratio can I run and which stock replacement honda piston (b16, type-r, etc) will give me this CR.

All rod and head bolts will be replaced with ARP's also I will pborbaby use ACL bearings.

For a B20, you are going to want YCP or Rs Machines Pistons.

You can get them in 84mm, 84.5mm, and 85mm.

They are the b20 itr pistons.

if your going to use the rs machine or ycp pistons, dont mill any thing more that is needed, the compression is high enough.

hopefully you have a good tuner over there. it makes no sense to have a motor built and you cant tune it.
