selenium all the way ...my causin in dr has 14 ev's n he had 4 18'' beymas 4 bass n he replaced them with seleniums 18sws1100 he payed 275 dollars 4 each i think they well worth it

my boy has 2 ev's and 1 celestion in his deck and the celestion sounds good but u can notice the difference cuz it plays a slightly lower range meaning it has a lil bit of bass in it not just full mids like ev's but them shits knock and they are cheaper than ev's

good brands..not for a car though..those kinda speakers along with ev's aren't made for near listening(car) those are pro audio/concert speakers so they only sound good from a distance
