2004 accord 6 disck cd changer help

The factory 6 disk changer stopped working on my 2004 accord coupe w/ the 2.4l motor (does not have dual climate control)

the radio still works & the presets still work.

the cd changer does not recognize any of my 6 disks.

when i press the cd button it will not switch to cd.

any suggestions on how to fix this? Or is it a common problem?

Thanks in advanced

tried that yesterday....

after 5 hours of them having it, they called me & told me that the cd portion is broken (no shit!) and because the car has 70k it's "out of warrenty" but they can replace it for $400......YEA RIGHT

so now im thinking it might be best if i get an aftermarket h/u

so you left your stock h/u there, making it lifeless? well other than your hvac controls.

Im kinda leaning towards the $140 metra kit that replaces the old h/u.

Because im gonna drop kick the stocker across the hudson when i finally take it out
