Need help with IAT problem

i always get me cel after driving the car for like 5 mins or sometimes it wont even go on till im driving and i downshift.. 3 friends have checked it out and said its code 10 IAT.. i replaced the IAT 3 times.. still same problem.. i went to the ecu and checked the wire for to see if it has a short.. nothing.. its good. now my question is.. the red and yellow wire go to the ECU where does the other wire come from?.. ignition switch?.. because when i turn the ig on and off it gets like 4 volts.. not suree.. anyone help please.. also.. do you think it might have to do anything with my temp.. my civic for some reason never wants to go to the middle(the needle) always stays at 1/2 before the middle line on the temp gauge.. thanx in advance.. -chris

When you remove the IAT sensor, does it look burnt? Sometimes people confuse the plugs and connect the incorrect plug to the IAT. It's a low voltage sensor and burns up when to much wattage it hitting.

did you check the other sensor? How did it look? If it was burnt, then you know you have wiring issue.
