The reason Honda owners are hated

I agree with NYCFox, when I go to rotary meets everyone is friendly, we do BBQs, cruises, new people show up and other people go to them and introduce themselves to make them feel comfortable. In Astoria nobody introduced themselves or had a hood open or anything and thats 3/4s of the reason to go to a car meet. At the Astoria Park meet mad *****s was ice grillin each other, half the cars were bondoed up and Hondas just sound like shit. Nothing is more annoying than a loud ass lawn mower sounding Civic pulling up to you revving for no reason and then cruising right next to you and pulling off then stopping to wait for you over and over again. I give props to the K powered Civics though, those shits move and they sound mean.

u guys have some fucked up meets.. all the guys i go to meets with in cali are way mellow. we make sure no one revs or peels out.. i agree that it happns alot with stupid kids with the fart can exhaust. it would be the same way if subuis and evo,s were the same price as a stock honda and an ebay or pep boys exhuast..

Im curious, what kind of times does it run and what did you dyno? it sounded like it was barely running and i saw no numbers. btw, i dont own a musle car, i own a muscle car

Not all honda people are hated. I'm friends with some honda owners out there. My cousin is all about his civic. I see no problem with that. Their cars are done tastefully, they look clean as hell and definately dont resemble "rice" They also dont drive like fools and street race every person that they pull up to.

The problem i have isnt with just honda drivers or import drivers, there's many people who have pos rides with a intake and exhaust and think its the fastest thing out there. True story-, a guy with a honda accord wagon intake and exhaust raced my brother's stock kia, and the kia beat him. the guy got pissed off because he got beat and his girl was with him. He flipped us off and called us crackers. not very nice

its that vast majority of kids who grew up with F&F and think their cars are the fastest thing out there who give ALL car enthusiasts a bad name, not just import drivers.

I dont hate on imports or hondas that are actually fast and are done tastefully. Ive seen my share of 11 second turbo civics and integras, theyre bad ass. In all honesty, out of alll the imports i see at the track, a few are in the 11s, a couple in the 12s, and a couple 13 second rides from time to time. I give them props. The rest are 15 seconds and slower, with 3 different colored body panels and wings. they're the ones that do their neutral drops in the parking lot, and hit the rev limiter and go nowhere.

Anyway, sorry for the life story lol, but I just had to post this. I know some people can level with me here, some might hate anyway. I know im not the fastest thing out there; there will always be somebody faster out there. i ran against a turbo teg' As i recall, he ran a 11.1 @ 136mph with a 1.70 60' i thought that was pretty awesome.
