a stock srt can run 13.5 and trap 101 mph completely stock..do 150 mph completely stock..what car for under 23k can do that completely stock??not many..ask people on a srt forum what they think of a civic there gonna hate on it, just like how if u ask about a srt on b20vtec or any other honda forum..people are going to lean towards what they have..i would build turbo honda for a race car before i built a neon as a race car but i would rock a srt before a honda for a daily anyday..it all comes down to what you want not what others want or think..

srt's are fun to build and drive, but when you get over 400whp, traction does suck. But you just have to like that kinda thing to be happy with it. 4th gear will make u smile when you make as much power as I do.

srt4 has plenty of tuning options. Piggybacks, aem ems, tunable flashs, ect are all available. With a mild turbo they can be a very fast and reliable street machine. Lsv turbo is great, but its going to be a time bomb waiting to explode. Plus you can pick up an srt4 with mods for less than 10k, which doesnt make much for a payment at all.
But if you have a daily driver, and your car is safely garage kept, and dont mind rebuilding every so often, and dont mind not taking the car to the movies or anywhere else out of sight for that matter, the lsvt setup might be a better way to go. Choice is yours.
