Macbook... Help!!!

i just copped a macbook pro second hand. but the guy didnt tell me his log in password n now i cant download n all types of stuff i'm not able to do. any MAC wizzes out there please help asap!!!!

Which OS did it come with?? If OSX tiger 10.4 put the OS CD before startup and HOLD the C keypad that would bring you to the admin startup screen where you could change the password to whatever you want...hope this helps

correct...once you boot off the OS disc you can go into Utilities and you should be able to change the PW from there. if you cannot get your hands on an OS disc you can always gives this a shot...
