ipod question

alright now i got my songs in the music section but the songs on her ipod are not erasing when i sync the new songs?? wat should i do

It wuld b easier if i was dere 2 see 4 myself...but yea all i kno is dat once u plugg it in wit tha usb of course it shuld connect....n if u connectin it 4 tha 1st tyme to dat certain computer den sumthin shuld pop up askin u if u want 2 erase all tha songs da ipod has @ dat moment so dat u can syncronized wit all tha songs dat itunes has but datz if itz tha 1st tyme connectin it to dat itunes...but idk exactly wat it iz cuz again i cnt see 4 myself....

u ahve to download itunes onto your computer, you have to use the same computer though, that you have used to put those songs on to the ipod..

if you dont then you must restore it, which will in turn delete all current songs and then you will have to re download them again, and keep them saved on your computer, cuz if you dont u will only have what you put on it that time.. and wont be able to add anymore to it wilthout them being saved on your computer... its stupid i konw, but that is imac for you.. but if your using the same computer that you used to download songs on to it already, then the library should pop up and you should just be able to add to your current playlist... but you must ahve i tunes installed on your comp for it to open ..

nothing pops up not even itunes. i manually open itunes myself. wen i conect the ipod my computer says "found new hardware" then it says for me to install software and i try to but it says it hasn't passed windows logo testing to verify compatibility. it gives me the option to continue and there could be a chance my computer will mess up or stop installation.

let it install on your computer... its supposed to do that..

itunes is installed on my computer i have windows xp. itunes doesn't connect to my girls ipod.

click on the icon of your ipod to the left... and when the screen comes up hit restore it will take a couple mins, it will delete allher playlist so you can start to add all your own songs after you either download them or copy them...
