sound card problem

i have a custom made pc for about a year or 2

the sound card i have is

SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio[b4000]

it stoped workin.. i re installed the drivers and nothing.. the pc detects the card that its there like everythings normal but no sound happens i test my speakers and they work fine once pluged to another pc.. i put headfoneso n the back of pc n no sound..what can it be? hardware problems>??

this works sometimes..

open up the tower
spray the inside with some dustoff
unscrew/pull the soundcard out, wait a few minutes, put it right back in.. make sure its in good.. and boot back up.. see what happens then..

idk why but in towers, ive had the same problems with HDDS and roms

yeah if the unscrewing didnt work then get another soundcard you could have a discrepancy on the sound card's board and prolly scratch a connector

if you installed the drivers with the card installed it will not work.....installed them restart, shutdown, install the card and power on, it will detected and install the drivers by itself......if you got vista in there you will need to run compatiblity mode if the card aint supported by vista....

i got windows xp pro... i just took it out and put back in ... pc detects it like its normal its installed.. drivers are installed... no sound comes out..
fucking weird.

try going to a website and download the app thingy lol,i have anew dell and i re-put windows on it,and when i did that the computer no longer recognized my network cards,my sound card and video card,i wen to dell.com / support and found my model number and it had downloads for my computer to recognize/use

Those are th drivers i couldnt do that bcause my pc is a custom built pc.. But i did manage to find the drivers for my soundcard n reinstalled them like i stated above
