what shud i do first?

I am getting a single non v hatch this week and i was wondering what should be the first engine mod i can do besides and intake...and not an exhaust right now.... any suggestions? i wanna keep this engine for a little....maybe a new head? idk

b16 2000 jdm swap b18 meanin ls like 1400 now b18c1 2800 whole swap or b18c5 4500 whole swap all of these jdm with less tha 60 k on them

i was told i could get a motor for about 400 and put it in myself? why isnt it that cheap?

^^^^ probably a stolen motor and to do an engine swap its kinda hard to do it urself the first time besides all this engines i told u about are legits
