It don't matter if its stock studs or after market studs. You have to tourque them down in a 3way sequence. FOR AFTER MARKET STUDS Start at 25 to 50 to 75 Make sure you double check each sequence.... And for the rods it depends on what bolt sizes your using for the 7/16th bolt size which is the smallest size if I'm not mistaken. You would tourque them down to about 28-30 foot pounds... For the 3/8th's big bolt size you will tourque them down to 40.....

no sir 7/16 are larger than 3 /8
and when installing new studs and rod bolts one should torque them in 3 steps loosen them then start again ... simple 3rd grade math take 1 inch break it into 16 equal parts 7/16 = 7 parts out of 16 take 3/8 which = 6/16 = 6 parts out of 16 ...

third grade math? yea theres no question on the bolt/stud sizes... the biggest thing that no one seemed to mention is you should use the ARP moly lude on the threads when torquing the fasteners to make sure you are getting consistant readings on the TQ wrench.

actually, what no one seemed to mention is, when you tq down rod bolts you dont even use a TQ wrench. you use a wrench and a rod bolt stretch gauge tool.
