What headstuds & water/oil pump should I use for a poorman's Type R?

quick question if i was to mount a b16 head on a gsr block what headstuds would i use also would i use the same gsr water and oil pump ?

use gsr everything if you cant get type r everything .put some pistons in while you are at it even the b16 pistons would help get them pressed in your rods and new bearings and you'll be all set that's a poor mans type r

nope the gsr head studs will work but not the b16's the deckhight is taller on the gsr block so the b16 head studs will be too short

All vtec water & oil pumps after 1996 are the same. Go to a honda dealer & check the parts number & they all come up the same. You cant use b16 headstuds when working with the 1.8 & 2.0L motors. They are too short. You have to use Type R & GSR headstuds.
