I need feedback on my B20v build(B16 head).

The specs:

B16a1 head with relapped valves and new valve stem seals - standard cams
B20z1 block with YCP 11:8:1 pistons, acl rod bearings
arp head bolts
arp rod bolts
4-1 with 2.5 collector and 2.5 exhaust
AEBS inlet manifold with heatshield gasket - standard throttle body
Apexi airfilter relocated bottom of bumper
Prelude 345cc injectors
Golden eagle conversion kit
Oil catch can.--> one inlet from back of block, 2 from rocker cover, one outlet to manifold, one outlet to atmosphere


What do you think my expected bhp will be? cheers guys

i'm thinkinthe 200 range with a nice tune and tranny

without cams on your set up and a tune like 160-170.

with some bigger cams and a tune maybe 190-210

Indeed. Your not going to make alot of power just because you have alot of compression. Your main source of power in a all motor build comes from the head & your not going to be making any power with B16 camshafts.

b16 cams are for a b16 they were designed to feed a 1.6 liter short strke engine
you need bigger cams .

get a pnp some pro2 and you will see 210 to 220sh

without a port job my stock b20z bottom end with a b16 head, stock valvetrain and buddyclub III cams made 196 on a vtec controller tuned by yosolo. put cams in it and you should be good.
