just call it ''out of the hole'' ''in the hole'' bottom line you cant use it gsr rods are longer
bcuz the gsr stroke is shorter than ls with the same block height and piston compression height something has to make up the diffrence ... long rod b series are pretty nice

OK Update.... I took My LS pistons and Rods and the P30 pistons that are pressed on the GSR rods to the machine shop and for 80 bucks he shotpeen'd my rods, installed my ARP Rod bolts, swapped over the pistons and adjusted the wrist pins for me, now ANOTHER QUESTION, I don't have the jack to hoist the entire motor out of my car so I can send the block to the machine shop, I wanted to know can I get away without honing the cylinders, I'm building a LS-V and don't have the garage space for a motor jack, personally I don't care for the tight working space, it's never bothered me before, but this is sorta a rush project now too because the car is my daily driver, and I'm having some head issues with the stock B18B head, so I need to get this done asap, the only corners I'm planning on cutting IF I can are changing the oil pump, and not honing the block FEED BACK PLEASE

Cool where can I get the guage from, and also will I have any issues dropping the pistons and rings into the cylinders is there something I should watch out for??? I forgot what the tool was called that allows you to drop the pistons in by aligning it with the cylinder..... but would you suggest using it or it's a pretty straight forward and simple process without... THANKS

wuz good bro
im doin the same setup like you, but i got a ls block with a gsr crank, with civic type r pistons, and a type r, the head only has the buddy clubs stage 2, and the head is port and polished, with a skunk 2 manifold, i put everything together, also with a b16 cable tranny, which i have it in my crx, i pulled 155 torque, and 215 horsepower, so your setup will pull either or with the pistons you got you just gotta do everything the right way, balance everything out, good luck bro

well my build is a little different, I'm using a B16a head a B18Bblock and crank, with the P30 pistons, a LS tranny(I do road racing and circuit so longer gears are my friends) and basically nothing else, I don't want crazy power, I just want a car that's fun to drive, and looks like a lightly modified SiR-2 under the hood, I'll be happy with 200 Crank HP. The car's also a daily driver honda so it's gotta be quick, not fast, torque is key, especially when I go to lime rock
