    Why do I have to hit my starter for my car to start?

    how come if i dont start my car up for a while the starter gets stuck? i gotta hit it with a hammer so it will work again

    cuz it means that starter is done i got 1 for sale for a b series let me noe asap if u wanna cop

    i brought it to the shop to get tested and it passed the test... ima just end up buyin a new 1

    Your starter brushes are getting short or worn out.Thats why when you tap your starter the brushes is being pushed in to the commutator by a weak spring.I would suggest to get the brushes replaced by a pro auto electrician.

    yea it means that its freezing up on u and u will need a new one asap befor u get stuck somewhere u better cop 1
