Great choice... don't worry about what others say.. 250 is more than enough.. My boy has one and on back roads.. He's up there with the big bikes.. These bikes are more than enough.. Yea you might get bored and get mad at time cus your always left behind.. Lol. But don't worry they will wait...and no matter what bike it is. You will learn and improve your skills everyday. If you choose to.

My boy just bbought his first bike. a 08 CBR600. They MOVE ! and are fast as fuck but still great ! for beginners. he has a freestyle ingenuity cage on it. So when it DROPS it doesnt get fucked up. && LIke everyone else is saying you might get tired of it soon. you can start on a 600 and just stay o it. It will satisfy you for a while !. there are used cbr600's for $4k look into them

Looks like a comfortable commuter bike by looking at the seat and rider posture..ergos shouldn't be aggressive but I think u shouldn't spend 4k on a 250 knowing u can get a used 600 for about the same price if u want to stay on the 250cc field look on craigslist im pretty sure you can find something as appealing for half the price

just dont buy a new bike your first time around.
i did and the biggest downside is the bike loses like $2000 worth of value as soon as you ride it off the dealers lot.
basically dont buy a brand new bike unless your gonna keep it for at least 2 years because by then hopefully your loan has caught up to the book value.

whatever u feel comfortable on...dont let someone else decide for you...my boy at work has this an 08 250r... i had a zx7 which is 500cc's bigger than his bike lol for a begginer that 250 has all the power u need...but i will garentee once u have expeirence n if u like to ride you will want to upgrade as soon as ur used to it...thats the only problem...but go with ur instinct man

Don't do something temporary and implusive so think about how long you're gonna keep it and decide if it's worth that much
