OP: you should try chipping the ecu to make vtec engage around 4500 rpm. or use a gsr ecu. and like someone else said just cause your redline is all the way up at 9.5k doesn't mean it makes power up there. try playing around with it. or just keep it at the stock rev limit ------------> 8K. i mean honda did make it redline at that for a reason!
