thats the wrong way to do it.
thats called causing wires to burn up. there is no way the circuit for the corner lights can handle the load of fog lights. you're talking about a 35-50W fog light bulb on a circuit that is meant for a 5W bulb. unless you're using relays. but still, its messy and unnecessary. if you want to do it the right way. pop the switch out. take your wire harness and cut the red/yellow wire. now you take the wire that is STILL attached to the switch and you either hook it up to 12v ignition (that way your fogs will be on every time the ignition is on), there is a free male pin on your driver side kick fuse panel. you can use a female quick disconnect and run an extension up to the red/yellow wire on the switch. you can use terminal C ![]() or you can tap it in to your corner light (+) also make sure you tape up the existing red/yellow wire that is not on the switch anymore with some electrical tape.
