DC/EG ASR subframe kits are the same exact thing. but that wasnt what the OP was asking for...

what was asked is it necessary to reinforce the subframe when using the GSR swaybar on an EG chassis

and the answer is no... i thought someone would've derived to that answer by my first post stating that the DC (except ITR) and EG subframe are exactly the same... therefore on a GSR swaybar you shouldnt need a reinforcement.

eg and dc's i believe a 13mm swaybar. both the same size, no support brace. you will however want to spend the money on aftermarket lca

*note: type r's have 23mm sway bars. i would not feel comfortable using one without a brace
