Depends on the condition of the motor. Get a compression reading of your motor & go from there. You can get away with a 150 & maybe a little higher if your motor is healthy & you have the proper fuel setup.

Go with the B16 tranny. An LS motor is a dud & its even worse with a LS tranny.

if you want a reliable setup i wouldn't go higher than a 75 shot. I would recomend you run the b16 trans and keep the shot smaller. If you have any other questions read my nitrous write up in my sig....

both guys are right. anything above 75 isnt gonna last to long. u might not blow the motor but you will fry the rings and ur car will start to feel more dudish.

150 shot?? on a stock motor?? i thought 75 was like the highest you would go before compromising reliability and safety. imo

Says who!? Speak with people that have actually had nitrous Honda setups, not writeups that have been spread & posted on every Muscle & Import forum. Ask .CUBISH. from H-tech hwo much he sprayed on his stock GSR at a event. He drove to the track, ran his duel stage 185 shot, drove home & had fun on the highway & the next day he came back out to the track. Or go ask Coco who is known for only fucking with nitrous & or b20vtec.com s/n "ghostofnyc" who is also a nitrous head how much theyve succesfully shot on stock motors. Ive only had 1 nitrous setup in a Honda, but it was a stock LSv setup & i was shooting that motor(125) with a NX express setup for a good year racing it every other weekend until the oil pump took a crap on me.

Nitrous is all about having the right fuel pressure & nitrous setup. Aslong as you can maintain fuel pressure, your good.

I wouldnt boost no 185 on a stock motor. And just cuz a car can last 2 or three months with 185 shot doesnt mean it worked or that its reliable. Yes its possible. But why would you shoot your motor with 150 if it wont last? W.e. Im not a nitrous guru like some people on here. But thats just my opinion. Why dont you shoot it with a 250 shot??? Lmao... If it survives you can come on b20 n honda tech n tell everyone how all ls set ups can handle 250 shot of nitrous. Wtf!!

so what your saying is..... On a stock motor... Lets say b16... What does it push 160 hp 165?? Lets add 185 hp to it and keep it completely internally stock. Just tune it and keep fuel pressure correct and you will have no problems. 160hp + 180 hp is 340hp you are crazy if you think you can keep a 340 hp motor reliable with stock internals lmao... Thats like saying lets boost a stock motor... Make 340 hp and just tune the shyt out of it. Nooo buddy.... It wont happen.... Not reliable. Possible yes... But very highly not recomended.... Like i said.... Im not an expert... So yeah you be the judge

Bro you have to start doing some research & open a book. Zero4488's writeup is good, but its not the end all tell all nitrous guide. Start asking around what other people are doing. And besides, are you tellling me that me driving around for almost a year on a nitrous motor(125) isnt reliable?

LOL you just tried to make an example & made yourself sound stupid. Theres ton of stock block daily driven B series & H series vtec motors making 400hp reliably(sp) on this site & every other Honda site. You You can make 300hp easy with the right turbo.
