Turbo ls oil recommendation

Hey people this is my 1st civic. i bought it about 2 weeks ago but i dont know exactly what it has in it. i know the motor is built (brand new less than 500 miles on it) . its got a turbonetics t3/t4 on it. my tranny is built. i bought the car from someone whose had it sitting for a while like 8-9 months. i got a pump to pump out the gas. i got a new battery and oil filter. im not sure what kind of oil to run. its been sitting 8 months so i would assume the oils gonna be all thick and shit needing 2 b changed, its an ls motor, i know remember him telling me its not synthetic but i dunno what should be used and if turboing the car makes a difference from the manufacturers recommendation. basically i wanna know what if any besides wat i listed should i do to the car before driving it (oil, filter, battery changed and gas pumped out), and what type of oil should i use? thanx ppl

My bad. U guys understood me wrong, I mean what weight. Does synthetic make a car preform better? I was planning on using mobile conventional oil but wasn't sure of the weight cuz I don't got the ls manual.

I highly doubt that was the oil's fault
