PR4 Rod ? and Shot ?...

Set up P30 pistons on PR4 Rods With ARP Rod Bolts LS/V. I started tuning a year ago and running s300 on my car going to use the Aux out for Nos control.

1. Rods are not shot penned what is the failure rate on these with a good amount of nitrous? Yrs they have the ARP Rod Bolts.

2. Im doing direct port wanna work my way up to 100shot. is this to much for non forged pistons. i was told to buy some hell fire rings if i was to run alot of juice?

Also i guess this is my newb post.

u should b ite if u get good rings n see if u can get dem rods shot penned makes it handle dat 100 shot n realible... honda oem internals can hold up 400 hp depands on ur build

Ill talk to my machinest see if he can hook me up on a shot peen.
So far its a B18b block, PR4 rods with ARP bolts, Nippon OE P30 pistons, Blacksheep B16A head. still need to buy my conversion kit and oem bearings once i get everything miced out.

egb18c5 will become famous soon enough
dont worry too much on the rods, worry about the tune when you hit the nitrous. thats the number one failure besides a motor that wasn't built correctly

thats cool im not worried about the tune lol. im going to pull 1 degree every 25shot so 4degrees on the 100. im gonna throw fuel at it to start and work it back to lean just a little end up with 12 or 12.5 a/f on the juice.
