phew. an actual good court date

so i had 6 tickets in 2 towns. (bloomfield, nj and montclair, nj) (i work in north nj)
2 - failure to inspect
1 - loud muffler
1 - improper turns where prohibited (the only 1 for bloomfield)
1 - parking meter expired
1 - front tints

so i went to court. i had a warrant cuz i lost track of all these court dates. so that was $200 bail. paid that a while ago. rescheduled ALL the court dates to today. (except the bloomfield one) so what happened was...all of them got dismissed...well in a way. i just had to say guilty to tints and exhaust and they dismissed everything else!!

the kicker...they said since i posted bail, i could use that as a credit towards my exhaust and tint tickets...and i GOT MONEY BACK FROM THE POLICE. WHOOOOOOOOO.

yea sounds great, only to be given downside is you're given frivolus tickets to begin with, you didnt go 2 court so they unlawfully issued a warrant and probably detained you. made you pay $200 contempt fee. and basically just gave you your money back in the end minus some. so do you think you really made out?
